The videos below show how to stake / delegate your ADA.
I will add more to this post over the next few days as this site is filled out with content
How to stake Cardano using the Daedulas Wallet
The Daedulas wallet is the offcial Cardano ADA wallet and it is a desktop wallet. As I wrte this post it doesn’t support hardware wallets but that functionality is coming soon so I will update this post and add a video showing it when it is done.
The video below shows how to use the Daedulus wallet to stake your ADA
How to stake Cardano using the Yoroi Wallet and a Ledger Nano hardware wallet
The video below goes through all the wallets for holding Cardano and shows how to stake in Daedalus and Yoroi
Hi Paul just came across your site. Good to see a fellow Irish lad in cardona. Is Daedalus a safe option to store Ada or would you recommend ledger?
Have been staking on binance as of late but since the uplift now taking it off an exchange and moving it to a wallet. Be honest now is your stake pool worth a decent stake 😉
Thanks Darragh I’m finding more and more of us every day..
Yes Daedalus is a safe place to store your coins once you keep your seed phrase safe. I am a fan of using a ledger (hardware wallet) whenever possible but if you don’t have one Daedalus is a solid wallet too.
Of course my pool is the best its run by an Irish man 🙂 Been honest over the long run most pools will generate between 5% – 6% APY. Some will be slightly above that and some below. We crossed 4M in stake overnight and growing fast now so I am expecting us to go on a good run of rewards from now on.
Any questions let me know. If your on Telegram our group is growing and there is a decent few Irish people in there too – https://www.cardanowithpaul.com/Telegram
Hey Paul, so I staked my ADA to your pool. I entered three days before epoch 250 finished, I was expecting I’d get rewards but there was none. Was it because I didn’t complete the full epoch? Hope to hear from you.
Thanks for joining. With Cardano staking your first pay-out takes 15 – 20 days and then after that it is every 5 days. I go through the timeline and the reasons here if your interested – https://youtu.be/umiv-YMmnaU
Paul, Question from a Paul2 staker. I did not claim my SUNDAE via the paid intermediary. Are we able to claim direct and without fee now? If so, may be a time to produce a video on how to. I know it is not worth as much not, so not excited about paying for them. Cheers!
Hey Robert, thanks for staking in the pool. No they haven’t built the function yet, seen someone else asking recently and the reply from the team was before the end of the year but haven’t seen anything solid on it. Token price is bleeding constantly and until there is some incentive to hold it I dont think it will stop
Hi Paul,
Pretty new to the whole staking process. Couldn’t find a better way to message you than on here… So I think I’m delegated to your stake pool on Daedalus, and I think I noticed there was a new block produced in the last day or 2, but I’m not noticing any rewards on my end. Am I missing something? Sorry I am not on Telegram.
Hey Rob, Payouts happen at the end of the epoch which is 5 days. The current epoch 241 will end tonight and rewards from epoch 240 will be paid out to delegators. The rewards then from epoch 241 are paid out at the end of epoch 242. When you start staking first there is an initial wait of 15-20 days to get your first payout and then after that it should be every 5 days, this video explains why – https://youtu.be/umiv-YMmnaU. You can also get me on paul@cardanowithpaul.com if you want any time. Thanks for supporting my pool
Hi Paul, I have staked in your pool for over a month and seeing no rewards in my yoroi wallet?
Hey Jack, if it has been a month you should have rewards. Did you look up your stake key on chain to check? Yoroi has sync issues some times and doesn’t show everything. If you go to adapools.org and search for your stake key you will be ale to see your full history
Hey Paul! Thanks for such a helpful website! What ROA are you offering on your pool?
Thanks Ilya, my pool has seen a big growth in stake lately which has pushed us to over 6.3M now which is great as that will give us blocks and rewards in every epoch. We should average out between 5% – 6% over the year which is the average for most pools that are producing blocks. Any questions just let me know here or on paul@cardanowithpaul.com
Hi! Dia dhuit 😊 what is the minimum amount of ADA needed to stake in your pool?
fáilte. There is no minimum for staking.
go raibh maith agat as féachaint ar mo chuid físeáin
Hi Paul, thank you for the great videos! My Daedalus wallet is syncing the block chain and once that is done I’ll stake with your pool. A couple questions that I have not found the answer too. When your wallet is staked/delegated to a pool can you spend/send your ADA from your wallet? Or is your wallet locked from sending until you remove it from the pool? When happens if your wallet receives ADA while staked/delegated to a pool? How do you stop staked/delegated to a pool? When you claim your rewards who are you claiming from? The pool owner? What if the pool owner goes offline before you claim? Hope that’s not too many questions 🙂
Hey Jason,
Yes you can still move your funds at any point. Any new ADA added will be auto staked to the same pool. To stop you can just move your funds out at any time. You are just claiming themfrom a rewards address in your own wallet. The pool owner never has access to your funds or rewards. Think that all 🙂
Hello Paul. How many epochs do I have to delegate my Adas to see a reward?
Your first payout will be 15 – 20 days and then every 5 after that. I talk through it here – https://youtu.be/umiv-YMmnaU
Hi Paul, Can you explain the fees in more detail please?
Any particular questions on them? There are some questions about them here and a video on it too that might also help – https://www.cardanowithpaul.com/cardano-staking-faq-ultimate-guide/
Basically the staking fees come out of the total pool rewards and not any individual delegators. Anything else just let me know
Hi, I have question about amount I want to stake with. Is it good idea to stake for example with 400 ADA or is it useless and I should do more ? Thank you and good luck!
If you are planning on staking for the long term then you can still make profit. You would earn about 20 ADA a year
Hi, Paul. I have been trying to redelegate from AdaLite Pool 9 to your Stake Pool for a few weeks already without success. I am using Mozilla Browser, Yoroi extension and Ledger Nano S. Everything is up to date but I get a very generic error which doesn’t help. When I should be confirming the transaction, I get “Something unexpected happened. Please retry.” I checked your videos and I didn’t find an answer to this problem. Any idea?
Is it a windows error message? When they pop up if you ignore them and wait for the prompt on your ledger it works. You could install Daedalus on your laptop and connect your ledger there. You can also use the adalite website since you are using a ledger. I show how to do it on the adalite site in this video as I got an error in Yoroi which I also show in this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48MngePqUQo
If you are doing it through adalite and want to use my pool you will need the ID – 86a19d5418cd07294af7d71386cf14a84e0478fbfde5b89fe4d98a58
Let me know how it goes
When I click on DELEGATE button (video https://youtu.be/48MngePqUQo?t=308), I don’t get redirected to emurgo.github.io. Browser tries the redirect but I come back to the same pop-up where I started and the message “Something unexpected happened. Please retry.” is added in red letters. So the error was different than in your video. It looks like it didn’t even contact my Ledger. I tried disabling all add-ons and still not OK. Gave up on Yoroi for staking.
Then I tried with AdaLite and it went smoothly, just like in your video. Thanks for assistance and keep up the good work!
Hi Paul
I’m trying to delegate my ADA to your pool using Yoroi and ledger nano. I follow the methd on you video but when I click on ‘delegate’ the message ‘something unexpected happened, please retry’. I think I might be missing something but can’t work out what: any ideas?
Thanks, buddy,
Mark
Is it a windows error message? When they pop up if you ignore them and wait for the prompt on your ledger it works. Sometimes Yoroi gets overloaded too. You could install Daedalus on your laptop and connect your ledger there or you can also use the https://adalite.io/ website since you are using a ledger.
Done, thanks for your help, you very lovely man.
Hello Paul,
Really appreciate all the info you put out .You have answered a lot of my questions with all your content. I am seriously thinking about staking my ADA.
A question I have for you. When do you or how do you see your pool reaching an average 5% return?
John
Our last epoch was 6% and this one is set to be over 6% so a few more like this will pull the average right up
Hey Paul,
Thanks for your quick reply! 🙂
While I was waiting for your answer , I had a good look at all the effort you put into this. The videos, website and incredible amount of information. I staked my 364K ADA with you this evening.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks! 🙂
Thanks John I appreciate the comments and you joining the pool. If your on telegram and want to join the chat here is the link https://www.cardanowithpaul.com/TelegramChat
Reach out any time there or on paul@cardanowithpaul.com thanks
Hi Paul,
Firstly thanks for the great content and support. You’re doing Gods work!
Today I delegated my ADA to your Pool. Do I qualify for rewards in the current EPOCH which ends tomorrow?
Thanks again for your support.
Tasi
Thanks Tasi. No your first earning epoch will be 250 which starts feb 24th and then your first payout will be March 6th. After that it will be every 5 days. I go through the timeline and why it works that way here – https://youtu.be/umiv-YMmnaU
Hi Paul! I’m very new to investing. Just entered your stake pool 2 days ago. I only have 304 shares of ADA in there. Can I expect any rewards from that little ADA
Hey Danny, thanks for joining the pool. You will get about 1 ADA a month so over the long term they all add up
Thank you! I will keep adding to it.
Hi Paul, ive got about 300 ADA to invest in pool, is it a good start to your pool? Or should i consider to stake more for any returns. Please tell what do you think and what amount is the best for start. Cheers.
You can stake any amount you want and you can always add to it. With 300 you could earn about 15 ADA a year. I built some calculators to help check numbers – https://www.cardanowithpaul.com/calculators/
HI Paul, I just followed your tutorial and staked with your pool (its above the minimum amount) .
On my dashboard and under upcoming rewards, it lists 4 epochs but all of them have a red triangle with an exclamation point beside it saying “Staking Key isn’t registered so you won’t get rewards” how do I fix that? the whole point of staking is to get the rewards lol, thankyou!
If you refresh it normally gets rid of the ! marks as they are just while it is updating
great thankyou, do you know to ‘log out’ of my wallet on yoroi I feel weird that its always logged in while I am using chrome to surf online…..if we can not log out, can I delete the wallet off yoroi without impacting the staking ? thankyou
There is no logout. You can remove the wallet but you will need your seed phrase to add it back in again, deleting it wont impact the staking it will still continue
Hi Paul,
Is there a transaction fee if I am going to delegate/stake my ADA to your pool? If there is, do you have any idea how much it is? and is this a one time fee? or if ever I want to undelegate ada from your pool or any pool is there a transaction fee again for this? Sorry for all my questions and I do appreciate your feedback.. Thank you and more power ,
When you stake you pay a transaction fee (about 0.17 ADA) to sign your stake key and you pay a 2 ADA deposit which is returned when you stop staking. You can move your coins at any time you want and again its just a normal transaction fee
Hey, Paul! I’ve been struggling with something that I’m hoping you can help me with. I want to start staking, but I’m having a problem. So I got the Yoroi wallet that’s connected with my Ledger Nano X. But the thing is, I got it in July, before the Shelley update, and I’ve kept the Byron wallet this whole time. I can’t find any helpful videos on how to upgrade the wallet to the Shelley version while still keeping the Yoroi account connected with the Ledger. How am I supposed to do this?
If anything, am I able to create a new Cardano wallet with my same Ledger, whether on Yoroi or Exodus perhaps?
Thanks in advance!
You can create a second wallet with your ledger and create it as a shelley wallet. Then you will send the funds from your bryon wallet to the shelley one and you will be able to stake then. Any questions on it let me know
Hi Paul,
Thanks for all the work. Going to delegate to your pool – is it the Paul or Paul 2 pool?
Also wondering – I’m using the Yoroi wallet. I set it up on the chrome extension. Any idea how I can have it on my phone also? If I set it up on the phone as “restore wallet” maybe but wondering will that kill the browser extension?
le meas!
Thanks Derek, if you search for Paul you will see 2 options and the new one is Cardano with Paul 2. Yes you can use the restore option on your phone and it won’t pact the browser at all. Thanks for joining the pool
Thanks a million Paul and thanks for all the content, loving it – especially as it’s Irish! …..any advice on tax implications in Ireland? Or videos maybe? As far as I can see it’s CGT only?
Thanks Derek, no I haven’t done anything on tax as its not fully clear and its not something I want to go on the record for telling people what to do due to it been uncertain. If you are getting into bigger numbers its always worth talking to a tax pro
Hi Paul, I have been liking the Yoroi Wallet so far. What exchange would you recommend to someone in the USA with low rates for purchasing more ADA? I used crypto.com and they are decent, but if there is a better one I’d use it. Also, how long do you expect ADA to be allowed to be staked? Thank you in advance, cheers!
Hey Daniel, I like Kraken as well. You will always be allowed to stake as that is part of how the network works. The future rewards are the part were not fully sure of yet as they will be dependant on transactions on the network
hi paul, trying to stake my cardano with you but yoroi keeps telling me something unexpected happened, please retry,i am using a ledger nano ,my browser is firefox,i also have sophos web protection,do you have any ideas?
no worries, ianswered my own question,i think it was an issue with firefox.
Hello Paul I am absolutly new on this market i need help, expect about staking can you contact me via mail please. I want to know your opinion about this pool HRBR 178 position. is it worth to staking with small stack ? I want it for long term i will buy som crypto every month. Thank you and have nice day
If your stack is under 300 then you will need to stake for a few months to make it worth while. Basically any pool should average out with rewards to 5% – 5.5% over the year. That is what I would expect my own pool to hit too
Hi Paul
Great videos really well put together and enjoy the updates, very useful info. Always good to see another Irish man doing well of course 😉
Trying to stake in your new stake pool 2 but I’m having problems using Yoroi.
I can’t seem to enter anything in the amount field although it shows the amount there its greyed out likes its inactive, have you seen this happen before?
Thanks Phillip, Wit Cardano staking you dont need to put in an amount as when you delegate it stakes the full wallet. This means that anything new added is auto staked including rewards and as there is no lock with Cardano you can still move funds in and out of the wallet at any time. We also have a telegram chat if you want to join – https://www.cardanowithpaul.com/TelegramChat
Hi Paul, I delegated to your pool a few months ago. I see my rewards in the Yoroi Shelley Wallet, yet I am not sure why they are listed separately and not being reinvested automatically. Do I have to withdraw and stake every payout or is there a way for me to automatically reinvest my rewards in your stake pool? Thanks
Thanks for been in the pool. They are held ina separate part fo the wallet but they are auto restaked for you and you only need to claim them when you want to move them out of the wallet
Hi Paul, thank you for your great work! I staked a small amount of ADA (100 or so) to your pool (Paul1), just to try. I tried to destake the amount a few days later, but it didn`t work. Do I have to wait for the next epoch or do I have to wait until the “embargo period” is over. If it works I`ll stake more :-). KR Werner
Hey Werner, thanks for joining the pool. You can move your funds out of your wallet at any time as there is no lock time with Cardano staking. To stop staking you can do it in Yoroi once you have rewards. When you go to claim your rewards you will have the option to de-register your stake key.
Hi Paul ! I have delegated my cardano with you for over a month now and I don’t know why it seems like still the same already charged the fees but no rewards.
Please tell me what happened.
Thanks
Hey Rick, if it has been a month you should have got rewards as the first rewards are are 15 – 20 days and then every 5 days. I go through the timeline here – https://youtu.be/QqzOS7W9APs
Rewards dont show as a transaction in your wallet. In Daedlaus they are auto added to your balance and in Yoroi you will see in the top right a section showing what rewards you have to be claimed.
I’m using mobile wallet and I can see that rewards is 0.0000000. nothing. or did I pick the wrong pool?because I just have 670 coins.
or should I switch to different pool?
Thanks
The first rewards from staking take 15 – 20 days and after that it is every 5 days. If you have been staking more than 20 days and the pool you picked is producing blocks you should be getting rewards
Hi Paul, delegated 100 ADA to your pool for testing. I destaked before the 15-20 days just to see how it all works. Waited a few epoch`s but my ADA don`t show up in my Yoroi wallet. I can see the Amount I staked in an internal Address, but have no idea how to claim them? Shouldn`t I have destaked it before the 15-20 days? Are my ADA`s lost? Thank you for the good and hard work Paul, Werner
No you can destake any time, your ADA never leaves your wallet. Cardano uses multiple addresses in the wallet but they are all controlled by you and that one wallet so when you go to send you can send from all the addresses combined
Hi Paul, loving the content, thanks for all the knowledge you share much appreciated. I am currently staking on Daedalus to Paul1 and would like to add more ADA to it. when i select redelegate lets me go through the motions but then tells me to select a different pool and wont let me redelegate to the same pool. what am i doing wrong?
Once the wallet is already delegated any new ADA added to the wallet is auto staked to the same pool for you so you dont need to do anything. Thanks for supporting the pool
Hi Paul,
I’m planning to join using Trezor Model T and Daedalus. Just curious though, how do you withdraw your rewards from Daedalus rewards wallet? I’m not planning to, but I can’t find anyway to do it after searching online. I’d feel more comfortable knowing this before I start staking, so I understand the process. Thank you!
Hey Reid, when you make a transaction from your daedalus wallet it claims the rewards for you then. Up to that point they still sit in your wallet are are auto staked for you they just sit in a different part of your wallet than the rest of your funds
Hello Paul you legend, Just a simple one for you mate, do I have to be delegated to a pool for the entire year to get that yearly reward? Can I use any of those ada’s or withdraw/transfer them etc whilst being staked in a pool? And when I stop staking, I stop getting rewards indefinitely? TIA
Hey Shaz, No you dont need to wait a year you will get rewards every 5 days (15-20 for the first and every 5 after that). The rewards you earn will add up to about 5% – 5.5% over the year, potentially slightly more with compounding if you leave your rewards in. With Cardano staking you can can withdraw or move your funds at any time as they are not locked
Hi Paul, I’ve been staking in Paul1 for a while from my Daedalus wallet. I’ve just bought some more ADA and put it into Daedalus, will this be added to the Paul1 stake pool automatically or do i have to do something? Thanks
Thanks for being a part of the pool Simon. Yes anything new added will be auto staked for you
Hello Paul. I am Eric. I am writing from Mongolian. Today I stake deadalus. and I have 380 ada in my yoroi wallet. Can I put it all together deadalus. Advise on this. Thank you.
Hey Eric, Yes you can put it all in the same wallet. When you delegate with Cardano it stakes your full wallet for you
Good day Paul. I want to ask what is the maximum and minimum amount of ADA tokens your pool can support ( Paul1 )
Thanks.
The minimum is 10ADA and there is no maximum. Well the max that any pool should have is 64M ADA
I will be looking for a pool to stake my 4500 ADA. Tell me why yours are better the say “XYZ” pools ?
Most pools that are producing blocks will give roughly 5% over the year so pick a pool you trust to run it right and one you want to support. If that’s me happy to have you but if not no problem
Hi Paul,
I was about to delegate my ADA to your pool. While trying to do so, I found that there are two of them – Cardano with Paul and Cardano with Paul 2. Got a little confused. Any suggestion as to which I should delegate to?
Hey Andy, both pools are mine. You can go with PAUL. Thanks for joining
Hi Paul. I’m thinking of delegating to one of your pools & have a couple of questions. Currently I use atomic, do I need to claim my rewards from them before moving to your pool? Presumably I just change the address and that’s it? Also, is there any optimum timing to do it so as not to miss out on a reward? Thanks!
Hey Mark, Thanks for following and looking at my pool. If you are just switching pool in Atomic you wont need to claim as first. In Atomic you will need to create a custom pool with the pool ID. You can use a89b86373838360143aba3911eaae54bf9420868965d48d447e4510a . Thanks
Hi Paul Im totally new to staking and I think I have successfully staked to your pool, but how do I know if this was successful. I did this on the mobile yoroi it still shows me my available funds at the top of the screen. The next line shows me the date that it was executed at as well as the fee being 0.174 and then at intrawallet it shows 0.00.
Im not sure if i have done this correct, the delegation button is no longer highlighted on your pool. So am i good to go or have i done something wrong. I already put in my spending password. Thanks for all your help. Debbie
Hey Debbie, sorry I missed this. Sounds like it worked. If you check the dashboard you will be able to see if you are delegated. Thanks for joining
Hi from Australia Paul.
Mate, one question, once I have staked my ADA, can I add to the stake? Or do I need to withdraw, top up and then re-stake?
I use coinspot in Aus,was going to transfer to Daed and then stake with you but I am always buying more ADA. Not sure how to ‘top-up’ if that makes sense.
Cheers mate
Hey Sav, once you have delegated any new ADA added to that wallet is auto staked for you without doing anything else
Hi Paul. New to staking and had my ADA staked in early June using Yoroi, with the help of a friend passing through my town who lives 700k away in Sydney, Australia. Since then have purchased extra ADA through Coinspot and would like to transfer to existing pool. The problem is I am 73, not tech savvy and live in a small country town in Australia. I know of no one locally who I could get to help. My concern is stuffing up and losing on transferring. I don’t wish to be a nuisance, but would appreciate a SIMPLE explanation of how to go about the procedure. One other question. At what level does a pool become saturated and when it does, do I then transfer from my existing pool into the next one you create? By the way, have had 4 lots of rewards so far and couldn’t be happier with how you are looking after mine and the other pool participants investment.
Thanks for being a part of the pool John, I appreciate that. A pool becomes saturated at 64M, currently my pools are well below that anyway.
To send more ADA to your wallet you open Daedalus or Yoroi and under the receive tab you will get a list of addresses, you can use any of them as they are all connected to your wallet. Copy one of them and in your coinspot wallet that is the address you use to withdraw to. I show how to withdraw in this video from kraken, coinspot should be similar – https://youtu.be/pPEX3Nk7PWY?t=1073
Any problems let me know
Hi Paul, i switched my ADA from my regular Yoroi account to a ledger account while i was staking, which took me out of my pool and now I’m unable to choose a pool to join and it gives me this message : Something unexpected happened. Please retry. did i create a glitch or something? I’d like to join one of your pools;)
Sorry I just seen this. That can happen with Yoroi if you dont have the latest ADA software on your ledger so just double check in ledger live that your ledger is on the latest firmware and your ADA app is up to date
Hey Paul. I’ve been stacking my ADA in Atomic Wallet which offers staking. Do I need to be in Daedalus or Yoroi to have flexibility and how important is what flexibility should you specify?
Also, I have stayed in Atomic Wallet partly for fear that if I were to try to move it, I would somehow manage to lose it. Thanks in advance should you reply.
Hey Palo, I personally use Daedalus and Yoroi which also allow you to hold Cardano native assets and get involved in voting which are the main advantages of staking through one of the official wallets. I have heard of some having issues with rewards on Atomic but I dont personally use it so I’m not sure what caused it for some
i am joining the crowd, and am trying to stake on 1.7k ADA delegating to your Paul 1 since you helped me to start.
Thanks for joining
Hi Paul.
I have been staking in your pool now for some 2 months and am penning a note to say that whilst I have increased my stake considerably over that time, the rewards are slowly diminishing to become a concern for me. The 4.5 to 5.5% considered to be standard is now running between 3-4% of late and with a stake of nearly 1.3m, the shortfall represents a considerable amount of money to me. Rather than re-stake, I ask for a reason as to why the returns are so low before I consider taking that step.
John
Hey John, thanks for staking in the pool I really appreciate that. In general the Cardano staking rewards come down slightly every epoch due to the way the protocol works as it is pulling from the same pot every epoch which gets smaller every time so the apy now for 100% luck is slightly under 5%. In time this will stabalise as transaction fees make up a part of the rewards too and transaction volumes are starting to rise.
Pool 2 PAUL has had a very unlucky run over the last few weeks and unfortunetly this is purely down to luck in how the protocol assigns blocks as we are running the pool exactly as we did when it was hitting well above average before this run. Generally these things average out and I would expect the rewards to get better and a good run of luck soon. The last epoch which will be paid out in 4 days finished at 4.6% so better but I want to see it higher. In contrast pool 1 which is run exactly the same has been on a great run lately with well over 100% luck in most epochs. Reach out here or on paul@cardanowithpaul.com any time. Thanks
Hi Paul, i was just wondering, which pool is better in terms of profits and long term return, 1 or 2? I know you talked about the saturation in your video and that it affects the reward, but does that mean it is always better to join the lower saturation (in this case Paul 2)?
Currently both are still good. Pool2 PAUL is currently the lowest saturation so for the long term you could join it
Hi Paul thanks for the great content. Not sure if you have answered this already I could not see it…After staking if I decided I wanted to sell my ADA can that be done quickly or does it take a couple of days? I know when staking it doesn’t lock it in but wasn’t sure how quickly you could exit and sell.
Hey Scott, No there is no lock so you are free to move your coins at any time so if you decide to sell you can send to an exchange at any time and sell straight away to USD / EUR. You then withdraw that to your bank and depending on the exchange would be in your bank the next day
Hi Paul.
I stake with you. Can you tell me why the “Bar” graph feature showing each epoch distribution paid to me as a stakeholder, does not appear anymore?
Hey Paul,
I’m new to the Cardano community, but I had purchased 103.xxxxx shares of ADA using Bittrex mobile.. I had watched some videos of how to and where to stake it.. but when I went to transfer my ADA to my Daedalus wallet Bittrex did not allow my transfer stating that I needed to have a minimum of 300.00 USD in my account.. (like I had mentioned before I am new to the market) but to me this seems wrong.. I feel like Bittrex is withholding my ADA for me to deposit more money..
In light of all this I am planning on using coin base for my future purchases of ADA..
Can you help me with this issue or put light on my situation maybe others have had..
Thank you
Cody.
Hey Cody, I dont use Bittrex so not sure on their limits but that $300 level sounds very high. I would say contact their support to get clarification. If it is $300 you dont have many options unfortunately apart from sell for another coin you can withdraw or hold and hopefully it it worth over 300 in the next weeks. Ya coinbase will work and Kraken is another good option
How long will it be before you get the staking rewards worked out.I guess there’s recalulation
I presume you mean on Yoroi as I seen they had a notice up about it. Rewards were all paid out so its just on Yoroi and how they display them. I didn’t see a timeline but would expect it in the next 24 hours. Yoroi is general has really been struggling lately
thx for the reply
Hi Paul, I’m trying to undelegate from your pool but I can’t see any undelegate button in my Daedalus wallet. Would you be able to help please? It is showing as Paul1 – Paul1 (292) – Paul1 (293). When I hover my mouse over the first one, its says ‘currently earning rewards’ but there is no undelegate button, only a redelegate button. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Daedalus currently doesn’t have an undelegated feature but with Cardano you dont have to undelegated to move your funds you can move them at any time
I did get my rewards but the way Yoroi displace it is not shown other than that everything looks good thx so much for your help
Sorry I missed this. Yes Yoroi had an issue but they fixed it yesterday so all should be showing now
Hi Paul,
I have found your videos and articles useful. Thank you for producing them. I have decided to delegate my ADAs into your pool. Just a comment is that it took a long time for me to download Daedalus. After the download, it takes a very long time to connect to the node and to sync. However, at certain times, I could connect to the node and sync. Is there a reason for this?
Thanks Paul. Yes Daedalus is a full node wallet so every time you connect it downloads the latest transactions that happened on the network. Are you using a hardware wallet or just Daedalus directly?
Hi Paul this maybe different comment but was wondering if you might know what is going on with Yoroi I can’t can my rewards amounts are there any problems please let me know thx
Hello Paul. how are you?? I connected to the pool to get a sandy swap … is it possible ?? Or will I receive the profit in the form of ada ??
Hey, yes you will get your ADA rewards as normal and then when the sundae ISO finishes you will be able to claim Sundae too. Thanks
My reward is zero. In response, I read that it takes fifteen days. Will you give me Adacardano as a reward? How do I get Adacardano as sandaeswap?
I am staked but I have not checked to see if I get sandy swap
Hi Paul, I just wanted to reach out after reading and viewing your content. A massive thank you for all you are doing for the ADA community. Regarding Sundaeswap rewards, are these likely to appear as a new asset balance within Yoroi? For example, will my dashboard start to display a new Sundaeswap balance after each epoch or will there be an additional process to claim and withdraw these should I wish to (once the ISO has concluded)? Also, for those currently delegating to your pools and receiving ADA rewards (PAUL & PAUL1), is there any additional preparation for the ISO launch or will Sundaeswap rewards automatically be deposited as well once the ISO is live? Many thanks and all the best.
Thanks Bissel, yes the only requirement is to be delegating to one of my pools. The tokens wont automatically appear in your wallet as there will be a process to claim them which I will create a tutorial on once the process is available
Hi Paul, I heard that if you stake ADA in Paul’s pool you will receive Sundaeswap tokens as reward, is that right?
Hey Alix, yes I was voted in for the Sundaeswap ISO so both of my pools will qualify for Sundae tokens during the ISO
Hi,Paul, Quick Question for you I just staked my ADA with you Paul 2 so even the actual Sundae Swap goes live am i able to participate too like using my ADA that i delegated with you ? I mean do i need to delegate 2 times or just being delegated with you that will be fine ? Do i have to cancel my delegate with you and delegate to sundaeswap iso ?
Thanks for joining. Yes just delegating to my pool will qualify you for Sundae tokens during the ISO. There will be a process to claim them and I will cover it in a tutorial when they release it
hi paul.. do u know when lunch sundae?? i want sandae but my reward is ada for now
They are launching on the testnet this Sunday but no date on going live on mainnet yet. Hopefully not too far away
Hi Paul, I have staked my ADA in one of your pools and I can’t see my Ada I can only see my rewards. Just messing around I hit the withdraw and it won’t let me withdraw either. What should I do?
Sorry for the late reply. Are you using Yoroi? They had sync issues last week so that could have bene your issue
Hello Paul. I connected to your pool on November 21st. Do you not count the prize in each epoch ?? How come nothing was added to my award today ??
Hey, if you joined on the 21st then you should have got your first reward already as you get it at the end of your 4th epoch. Did you get any rewards yet?
Paul can you expand on the following line: Fees: Minimum fixed fee (340 ADA) + 3% Are you saying you need 340 ADA to Stake or you saying if we take you will take 340 ADA for the pleasure of staking? Or something totally different. I am looking to get in on the SundaeSwap ISO. I voted for you to be a scooper and was going to stake in advance of the ISO launch.
Thanks for the vote and sorry for the late reply. With the 340 that is the minimum allowed by the network and is taken from the total rewards earned by the pool, the 3% is also taken from that and then the balance is split between all delegators. These fees are never taken from your staked ADA
Hi Paul, how do you delegate to your pool using Nami?
If you go to my pool on poolpeek and click the green join button it will initial the stake in Nami and give you a popup – https://poolpeek.com/#/pool/a89b86373838360143aba3911eaae54bf9420868965d48d447e4510a Thanks
How to join your pool using nami wallet? which website can i use to access, like is pool.pm safe?

yes poolpm is a great site too
Hey Paul, are we able to use then nani browser wallet when delegating to your stake pool?
If you go to my pool on poolpeek and click the green join button it will initial the stake in Nami and give you a popup – https://poolpeek.com/#/pool/a89b86373838360143aba3911eaae54bf9420868965d48d447e4510a Thanks
There is no “Join” button on that site. Just FYI.
Hi Paul ,I have just downloaded Daedalus and now it is ‘ syncing ‘ with the blockchain. So far it has taken four hours and is only at 57 percent ? Is this normal ?
Regards John
Ya unfortunately it is, the first time you use it it needs to download the full blockchain. It wont be that slow every time though. Personally I mainly use ccvault as my wallet for Cardano now
I would like to know if I restake to your pool in the next few hours will I be qualified to receive the ADA Sundae Swap ISO rewards?
Ya still in time if you delegate now as long as its done by Jan 25th. thanks
Morning Paul.
I am a delagator to the Paul 2 pool and have a query regarding ADA rewards over the Sundae Swap ISO period of 5 Epochs.
I note that your pools have reached saturation point with the influx of delegators seeking the Sundae Swap rewards.
My understanding is that once saturation point has been reached in a pool, the ADA rewards significantly reduce. Unless this situation was anticipated by the powers to be, wouldn’t it be counter productive to have this reduction of ADA rewards for some Sundae Sway rewards instead?
Can you inform the delegators in your pools as to above situation.
John (Australia)
Hey John, thanks for being a delegator. Pool 2 is currently at 99.9% full so at this level it has no impact on rewards. Once it goes over that it would start to have an impact but a very miner effect if its only just over. Basically the pool still gets the rewards for 68M ADA but has to split over whatever is in the pool. eg if the pool went to 70M people in the pool would earn 2.8% less ADA rewards. If its a lucky epoch in terms of block assignment then there mightn’t even be a hit on rewards but you dont want to see a pool over saturated for long. I am telling all new people to go elsewhere and in 4 weeks when the Sundae ISO is over I expect lots of people will probably go back to their original pools as well. I’m keeping a close eye on it.
Thanks Paul for your quick response and explanation. I am sure this query has crossed some delegators minds and puts them at ease.
John
Hey Paul i delegated to your pool on the a week or so ago and i entered my used address on yoroi into dripdropz and it says… You are currently not staking or your stake is not active yet, explore projects and discover pools you might be interested in. Do i need to wait one more epoch… Or am i using a wrong address
Thanks for joining DON, your 3rd epoch would be your first active earning epoch when you stake and the end of the 4th is when you get your first payout with ADA rewards. After that its every 5 days
Hello Paul. I have been connected to your pool for two months .. You said that my reward will be paid in sandae. But the payment is ada paid. My goal in connecting to the pool was just Sandae … What should I do?
There is no option to just get Sundae rewards. The sundae rewards were an extra on top of normal rewards and you will have the ability to claim them from March 1st. I cover it in my video from 2 days ago – https://youtu.be/kUOU0ywBVYU
